Problem with paint

I suggested to put paint on my actress to create a scene of representing “black”, which matches up with the lyric ”paint me in the corner” and “I’m a black sheep”. However acrylic and gouache are unusable material as they are difficult to to be wash out, and could also damage skin. Therefore at the end, I decided to use black eyeshadow to create the scene. With eyeshadow, it is more similar with dirt, which could clearly represent rebellious, which reveal a different feeling with acrylic or gouache.
