My digipak is created with a low saturation colour palette with almost only black and white. Only black, white, green, yellow and a bit of red represented in the digipak. The colour palette has represented a old fashion style and demonstrated clearly with the difference of the ‘black sheep’ and ‘white sheep’. As a colour palette of black and white might be too serious and mature, I decided to add more colours to represent the energy and the uniqueness of the artist and the song.

The inside pages are drawings I drawn digitally with figures and flowers, therefore also represents a art style between realistic and abstract, while surreal art is revealed. In my opinion, this drawing matches the vibe of the song after I changed the colours of the flowers to yellow. At first the flowers were represented with red, however that demonstrated a extremely mature and violence style, and these are not the message I want to represent and transfer to the audience.

For the front cover, I have chosen to choose a long shot photo as it could represent the setting and the difference between black sheep (actor) and the white sheep (white clothes) more clearly. Adding on, as the actor is the only living organism in that scene, it represented the independence, confidence, and the uniqueness of the music video and gives out the vibe.

The front of the CD is a closer shot of the front cover photo.

Back cover is represented with a middle shot with the leg of the actor. The position of the actor has represented confidence and the leg has grabbed people’s attention through the contrast of colour, it has represented as the darkest item in the photo.

The extra panel is represented with a photo in a different location with the front and back cover. This location and outfit of the actor has represented the rebellious, and the risky energy of the music video. Therefore has represented a meaning of the ‘Black Sheep’ , with a person in the family who counts as worthless and bad.
